On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me... rehab and music therapy!

Today we bring to your attention The Amy Winehouse foundation, a registered charity in England and Wales. This amazing foundation combines two concepts— traditional rehab and music therapy — to bring education and recovery to vulnerable youths.

Founded by Amy's father just two months after her death from alcohol poisoning in July 2011, the foundation strives to help disadvantaged youth prevent and recover from substance abuse through rehab and music programs that promote personal development.

In 2013 they launched the Resilience Programme For Schools with the help of ex-addict Russell Brand— bringing effective education around drugs, alcohol and emotional recovery to secondary schools across the UK.

“One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”

— Bob Marley
