We previously introduced AM DeBrincat to our Howl Readers, a painter who creates unique worlds where online and offline life meet and merge. Combining digital and analog media like pieces in a visual puzzle, DeBrincat builds paintings which explore how we build identity and sense of self in the digital age.
This month in NYC, DeBrincat will have three paintings displayed in a pop-up group show curated by the Azart Gallery. The show is at 504 West 22nd St, New York. The show runs through October 14.
Another exciting project she will be a part of is "Drums on Paper: With the Neighbors", a group show curated by her favorite Brooklyn printshop, Authorized to Work in the US Press. The show is at Ground Floor Gallery, 343 5th Street, Brooklyn, running through October 15th. DeBrincat will be printing and releasing two new risograph prints during the course of the exhibition, with printing happening at the gallery.
Follow her Instagram page @amdebrincat if you want to stay in the loop about these happenings.
